Stovepipe Cover
Scope and Contents
Embossed metal plate, yellowish color with paper picture of a farm scene in winter.
8" in diameter.
2 metal wires in back, bent in loops and inserted into plate.
Was snapped into the chimney stovepipe hole when the stove was not in use, usually during the summer.
Taken from the Harold Weir house on Almshouse Road before it was demolished in December of 1993.

From the Collection: 61 Linear Feet (Many items are not housed in boxes - they are displayed on the shelves in the collection room. All other items are housed in boxes. Box 30 is oversized.) : Many are in good condition, with a few that need careful handling. There are a few heavy items and glass objects so care should be taken with them. Many of the clothes are in good condition but due to their age, they should be handled gently.
